Our Mission
At Feed Folks Foundation, we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious, culturally meaningful food — no matter where they live.
We serve food-insecure individuals in underserved and hard-to-reach areas through free mobile hot meals, mobile pantry supplies, and connections to wrap-around support services. Our work restores dignity, builds stability, and reduces barriers to food access for individuals and families facing food insecurity.
But we don’t stop at meals.
Feed Folks strengthens the food system itself.
Through our research and action arm, we collaborate with local nonprofits, community leaders, and public partners to conduct food system assessments, service mapping, and applied research — offered at no cost to organizations that may not otherwise have the capacity to gather critical data.
To deepen our impact, Feed Folks integrates responsible, community-centered artificial intelligence tools to strengthen local food systems. We use AI-assisted data modeling, service mapping, and needs forecasting to identify geographic service gaps, optimize mobile meal routes, and improve food distribution efficiency.
Our AI-supported framework allows us to create replicable, adaptable food security models tailored to the unique demographics, infrastructure, and cultural needs of each community. Technology does not replace community voice — it enhances it. All data-informed strategies are grounded in participatory engagement and equity-centered design.
By combining direct service, research, and responsible innovation, Feed Folks advances food sovereignty and builds food systems that reflect the needs, culture, and strengths of the communities it serves.
Our current focus is East Palo Alto and Redwood City, where we are committed to meeting urgent needs while building long-term, community-led solutions.
